Streamline-director David van der Houwen has a long and outstanding experience as a trainer and consultant for public information officers and journalists in almost all countries of Central- and Eastern Europe.
He was the 'architect' and course leader of many seminars and workshops in countries like Armenia, Azerbaidzjan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Subjects were access to public information for media and the general public (including legislation), political reporting and covering elections for journalists and the role and position of public information officers. Most of the seminars had the character of a workshop with a lot of input from the participants, case-studies etc. Also practical skills were covered.
